My client, a Proprietary Trading Firm, is recruiting for 2 Mid-level to Senior level C++ developers to join their High Frequency Trading System Development team. This is a great opportunity to work in the front office with direct and daily interaction with the business users including quants and traders. This is also a technically challenging position, which involves all greenfield development as you will be building a brand new trading system from scratch! This is an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment using the most cutting edge technology so you must be able to work independently and take ownership of projects without direct supervision. You will be working on a variety of projects including trading system development, risk modelling, volatility forecasting and strategy development.

The ideal candidate will have 3 – 7 years of experience as a C++ developer in the finance industry working with an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Financial Software Company preferably in the front office. Experience developing trading systems or high frequency systems is not required, but highly desirable. Any specific business knowledge of Equity Derivatives will be a major advantage. My client is looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and have strong C++ technical skills along with strong finance knowledge.
