Mechanical / Product Development Engineer - NJ - Medical

Mechanical / Development Engineer required to be based in New Jersey (central) and join an exciting new venture in this medical device company.
The responsibilities of the role fall into 3 areas – device design and development (Solidworks) – 30%, product testing – reliability / compatibility / component and prototype assembly / testing – 50%, manufacturing / service hand-over -20%.
To be considered for this position you must have solid experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with devices (ideally medical / life sciences / instrumentation) but also have extensive experience with lab based testing as this will form the bulk of your role.
