RF / Microwave Engineer - Long Island - High power exp. required

I am urgently looking for a RF / Microwave Engineer specializing in the design and development of high power (>5 watts) amplifiers using chip and wire techniques. The amplifiers you will be designing are specifically for the transmitting end, not the receiving end.
To be considered for this position, in addition to demonstrating experience in the above, I am ideally also looking for someone with GaN technology experience, and a solid understanding and previous experience in simulation modeling. This is a highly theoretical / analytical position as you will be spending approximately 50% of your time in front of the microscope and 50% of your time doing simulations.
It is essential for this position that you are a US citizen or permanent resident (no visas allowed) due to the nature of some of the work being from the government, and that you have a BSEE minimum. The position is based in Long Island and is 100% office based, so you will need to be within a commutable distance from Melville, or be willing to relocate yourself on a permanent basis.
