Front office development role for a major player within the Investment Banking arena. You will be building out a cutting edge trading platform for Equity and Options which will later be expanded to cover the trading of other products. This is a real opportunity to be involved in front to back development within a well reputed team with maximum exposure to the Trading desk.

The right candidate for this role will have superb technical skills with Core Java, socket programming, TCP/IP and multithreading. Any experience with FIX protocol would be an advantage but is not essential.

Any commercial experience developing a trading platform is a massive advantage but my client is willing to talk to truly exceptional Java Programmers from outside of the industry. A Bachelors in Computer Science or similar is required.
