Excellent opportunity for a talented software engineer with strong C++ and open GL experience to join the Integrated Data Systems Department of a world leading research organization. You will be responsible for developing visualization solutions and user interfaces for next generation Computer Vision Systems and Research projects related to data integration, data mining and modeling, text analysis, natural language processing, trending and optimization.

It would be a big advantage if applicants had also experience with machine learning, data mining and modeling, rule-based systems, text analysis and natural language.

Your primary responsibilities will be to develop novel visualization libraries and solutions, support the research and development in the department with focus on information visualization and modeling systems, plan and conduct research, development and implementation activities in engineering tools for industrial setting and perform other research duties as required.

Candidates applying to this position will have an MS or PhD in computer science or information visualization oriented field, experience in data visualization and/or user interfaces, strong background in object oriented programming (Java and/or C++), proficiency in either OpenGL, Java2D, ActionScript or Flash/Flex. Experience with Flare or Prefuse is a plus as would experience with databases and SQL
Experience in machine-learning, data mining and modeling, text analysis and natural language processing, Mathematics and SDLC is preferable
