My client, a prestigious Investment Bank in NY, has an immediate opening for a Senior Developerto join the Equities Risk Technology Group. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in design and development of Equities based real time trading p&l and consolidated risk management platform.

The right candidate for this role will have the following qualities:
• Extensive experience in application software development in the Capital Markets industry preferably dealing in equities and risk technology.
• Proven track record in building large-scale, distributed, multi-tier, multi-threaded, service oriented solutions.
• Strong Core Java development skills
• Well versed with operating systems (Unix is a must have), and experience with databases.
• experience with K/KDB highly desired.
