My client, a leading provider of investment technology, is looking for an content strategist to architect a knowledge management environment that will consolidate information from all of the firms internal and external clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for those with extensive content or data management experience to step into a highly visible role within the product management group of an industry leading investment technology firm. This is a VP level permanent position based in Jersey City that will pay a base salary between 115-130k. As the Content/ Knowledge Architect, you will be tasked with leading the consolidation and improvement of the firms customer knowledge management resources. Content regarding customer knowledge feedback from their experience using the firms products needs to be documented, correlated and managed in a way that ensures customer inputs are prioritized and acted upon. You will also be expected to create and maintain an accurate catalog, or online-library, of information pertaining to knowledge management. Key responsibilities include:
-Working closely with internal and external clients, product managers and technology groups to establish a vision and mission for the firms knowledge management infrastructure
-Define requirements and a process for creating and maintaining the knowledge management platform and reporting tools
-Implement tools such as Wiki, feedback collection and ratings to gather and refine knowledge from across the organization and customer base
-Present customer knowledge to senior management in the form of dashboards and scorecards
-Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the firm maintains its competitive standing within the industry
In order to succeed in this position, you should have a solid understanding of the principles, processes, tools and technologies relevant to the knowledge management domain. You must have experience managing projects in a highly data-centric, taxonomy driven environment. Experience creating Wikis and compiling information from on-line users is also essential. Candidates must have a creative and proactive approach to content management and should have a proven track-record of success working in global teams.
