My client's Information Security team is growing. They are seeking IT Security Candidates who are passionate about security and thrive in a team environment. You must have great communication skills.
As an IT Security Engineer, you will consult with the CTO, development and infrastructure teams to assure application of security principles and mediation of risk associated with new technologies, operating platforms and application systems. Some of the responsibilities will include identity management, authentication, access control, and authorization that meet requirements for security, performance, and integration. Conduct risk and Vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate action. Assist in implementation and ongoing review of information security program strategy, policy, and processes; provide operational oversight for information security team activities.

Candidates who apply will have experience designing and implementing state of the art security solutions governing applications and infrastructure architecture.
Hands on technical skills include: Unix, Windows, Active Directory, JAVA, C, C++, anti virus software, identity management (Tivoli or Novell or Oracle).

Information security education: Atleast a Bachelors in Computer Science from a prestigous University.



Information security experience: Minimum 3-10 years experience, at least two years of which include direct responsibility for information security architecture, development, implementation and administration.
Consulting and/or advisory experience may be substituted for a portion of the in-house experience in security architecture design. *Demonstrated understanding of security principles, best practices, architectures, tools and processes in the areas of:
Access control systems and methodology
Identity management and authentication systems
Directory services design
Application security and systems development life cycle
Encryption technologies
Data and systems integrity controls
Network and Internet Security
Audit and event management
Business continuity, availability and disaster recovery
Operational security controls
Strong technical knowledge of one or more platforms/application environments such as Unix/Linux, Windows..
