Prestigious trading firm in the downtown Chicago area is looking to grow their Algorithmic Trading System Development team. This person will join as a front office developer within in this Algo group and have direct access to the business on a daily basis. Some of the daily responsibilities will include providing fast scalable solutions in a live trading environment as well as implementing Java algorithms. There will also be an opportunity to work with pricing applications.
The ideal candidate will have only 2-5 years of Core Java development experience and be well versed in algorithms and design patterns. If you come from a top tier school with a BS in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.5 and above you will be an ideal match for this role. This opportunity will take your career within the finance industry to the next level. Anyone having Algo Trading experience is highly regarded within the industry.
