This team is responsible for both the development of the algorithmic trading system and the market data platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background with a degree in computer science and 0-3 years of working experience as a Core Java developer. A strong mathematics background, especially at writing algorithms is a big plus since you will be building out an algorithmic trading engine along with the market data platform. Technical experience with multithreading and SQL is also an advantage. The group is currently trading domestic equity but will be expanding into other asset classes in the near future. Experience in the finance industry is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong communication skills are a must as you will be liasing with all levels of management, traders, quants, etc. If you are an excellent Core Java developer with a strong academic degree in computer science, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
